Post-Christmas Greetings
And an update on my Palm Desert show
A Christmas Breather
My family took our Christmas break early, so I’m back at work this week. I really enjoy the period between Christmas and New Year’s Day, when most of the shopping and travel chaos has passed, or at least paused, and we can just settle in to enjoy friends and family.

Toboggan — 9”x12”
For my family, that hopefully includes a day or two of skiing. My husband and I met skiing at Killington, Vermont, and Utah’s outstanding ski conditions are part of why we moved here from New York City over 20 years ago. I’m grateful that both my children had the opportunity to grow up to be fantastic skiers.

Chick with Sticks — 10”x10”
Lots of people talk to animals... Not very many listen, though... That's the problem.
My Latest Show
CODA Gallery in Palm Desert, California put on a great opening for my December show. Thank you to Sam, Julie, Areli, Morgan and Daniel for a wonderful installation. I love showing my paintings at this beautiful gallery.

Here is Daniel and his assistant installing Little Goddess — which sold almost as soon as she was installed — but there are plenty of great works left, including these two gentlemen:

Heavyweight — 48”x48”

The Queen’s Courtier — 20”x20”
In my most successful paintings, eye contact is so important, and these two have definitely got it down. Both are stunning in person — if you’re in the Palm Springs area I challenge you to stop in and try to resist their charms.
