My Yoga Chicks get themselves into the most interesting places! Check out this lovely chick gracing the cover of Annabelle Gurwitch’s new memoir, The End of My Life Is Killing Me: The Unexpected Joys of a Cancer Slacker.

ANNABELLE GURWITCH is an actress, activist, New York Times bestselling author of six books, and two-time finalist for the Thurber Prize for American Humor. So when she received an “out-of-the blue” diagnosis of Stage 4 lung cancer, she did what you might expect from a humorist: she wrote an insightful and funny book about it.

According to the publisher, after Gurwitch received her diagnosis, “an existential dread set in. Precision medicine offered a temporary reprieve—but instead of turning into a cancer warrior, Annabelle declared herself a cancer slacker. Her motto: no runs, no ribbons, no religion.” I’m inspired by Gurwitch’s use of humor to navigate this frightening, unexpected and frustrating turn in her life, and honored to have one of my charming Yoga Chicks illustrate her tale.
